The Government of Aragón will make this Friday the payment of the advance of direct aid per area of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) corresponding to the 2026 campaign, for a total amount of 244,235,612.14 euros.
According to the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food, this first payment groups four types of support and represents 75% of the planned amounts, the maximum percentage authorized for this type of advance.
Of the 31,000 beneficiaries who have processed the CAP application in Aragón in this campaign, around 27,000 will receive the payment linked to one or more of these area aids.
This advance includes payments from the Basic Income Support for Sustainability, the Redistributive Payment, the Complement to Young Farmers, and the Eco-schemes, with differentiated allocations for each line.
DISTRIBUTION OF PAYMENTS
The bulk of the advance is concentrated in the Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BIRS), which totals 140,773,251.38 euros. Following are the Eco-schemes, with 71,121,834.96 euros, and the Complementary Redistributive Payment (CRP), to which 27,767,168.08 euros are allocated.
As for the Complementary Payment to Young Farmers (CPY), its amount rises to 4,573,357.72 euros. In total, these four lines reach just over 244.2 million euros as an advance for the CAP 2026 campaign.
However, a part of the files from the 2026 campaign is excluded from this first advanced payment. Among the main reasons are that some recipients have not requested area aids or lack the necessary allocation of rights to be able to order the payment.
Additionally, to a lesser extent, there are files with administrative verifications still not concluded or registered, as well as others that remain initially blocked due to outstanding debts pending settlement.
For the preparation of this advance, the allegations and admissible modifications presented by the applicants from June to September 11, 2026, have been considered, with the aim of reflecting the relevant changes before issuing the payment.
