Oro Bailén hopes to achieve in the 2026/27 campaign its largest historical volume of early-harvest 'premium' EVOO, with a forecast of some 15,000 tons of olives. According to the oil mill details in a statement, this raw material will make it possible to obtain more than two million liters of early extra virgin olive oil.
This level of production consolidates the company as the main producer in Spain of early-harvest 'premium' EVOO, by combining large-scale production with the demanding quality criteria that define the firm. At present, the oil mill distributes its 'premium' oils in more than 45 countries.
The company works with a network of local farmers, whom it pays above market quotes, and maintains around 45 direct jobs throughout the year. To this are added some 300 indirect jobs associated with the harvest period.
"Each new harvest means starting over to achieve the best possible juice. We have the accumulated experience of two decades, and we know that quality is built campaign by campaign and begins with making decisions in the olive grove. Our goal is not to produce earlier, but to choose the right moment so that each variety expresses all its potential," said the CEO of Oro Bailén, José Gálvez González.
The 2026/27 campaign is faced after a solid track record of international awards. The oil mill already has more than 600 national and international distinctions and is in first place in "World's Best Olive Oil Mills 2025/2026", the world ranking that analyzes the quality and consistency of oil mills.
