The spokesperson of the parliamentary group of the PP in the Cortes of Aragón, Ana Marín, has denounced this Monday that the Government of Spain "has not given the response that Ceuta deserves" in the face of the migratory crisis triggered last July.
Marín has reminded that the PP has been "warning for many days" about the seriousness of the situation in Ceuta and has wanted to convey all her support "to the compatriots from Ceuta, who are having a very hard time."
As she has criticized, the president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, "has been on vacation during the Ceuta crisis" and, in addition, a "lack of response and coordination" among the different Ministries with competencies in this matter has been evidenced. She has reiterated her support both for the people of Ceuta and for the migrants present in Spanish territory "and they are not being attended to by the Government of Spain."
These statements were made in a press conference after holding a meeting with the president of the chamber, María Navarro, in which she expressed her willingness to integrate into the working group on migrations of the Conference of European Legislative Assemblies (CALRE).
On another note, Marín has emphasized that "we want to provide answers to the needs of the Aragonese," focusing on issues such as the processing and approval of the budget law and the housing law, as well as on the strengthening of public services "for the benefit of all Aragonese."
