The Prosecutor's Office for Minors in Seville has concluded the investigation phase regarding two of the three adolescents investigated for their alleged involvement in the harassment of Sandra Peña, the 14-year-old girl from Seville who took her own life a year ago, on October 14, and appreciates the possible commission of two crimes after examining the proceedings carried out.

According to the indictment, the Public Ministry maintains in its provisional conclusions that there are indications that both classmates may have committed crimes against moral integrity and psychological injuries, "due to the degrading treatment given to Sandra and the repercussions it had on her mental health," as reported by Diario de Sevilla and confirmed to Europa Press by judicial sources.

One of the most recent actions in the procedure refers to the filing in the criminal route of the complaint filed by the parents of the minor against the Irlandesas Loreto school in Seville and against the principal, the head of studies, and the tutor, whom they attributed the "commission by these of the crimes of manslaughter due to negligence, psychological injuries, and degrading treatment."

In that order, the magistrate decreed the dismissal of the actions derived from the complaint, understanding that the educational center and its responsible parties "adopted measures to combat the harassment situation, but it was not required of them, in fact, no one expected it, to control the minor at all times to prevent her from taking her own life," although she pointed out that the "people who had the condition of guarantors of the integrity and emotional stability of their students did not act with the agility that was required."

The family of Sandra Peña insists on the "multitude of errors" that, in their opinion, the school committed and demands "firmness" from the Junta, considering that the center where the minor was enrolled "did not open the protocol" against school harassment and "did not protect" the teenager, for which they have been demanding a "firm and exemplary" response from the Ministry of Education of the Junta de Andalucía.
