The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has decided to postpone the meeting of the Governing Council in which it was expected to give the green light to the regional Budgets for 2027, in order to dedicate her political work "only to serving those affected" by the High-Speed train accident that occurred in the province of Toledo.

The Madrid leader has communicated this decision through her profiles on social networks, after, around 8:55 a.m., the collision took place in the Toledo municipality of Urda, where an AVE has struck a convoy of Iryo on the Madrid-Seville line.

From the regional Government they have specified that the session of the Governing Council of the Community of Madrid will finally be held this Friday, the date on which the regional Accounts are expected to be approved.

To support the emergency work, the Community of Madrid has sent to Toledo eight units from Summa and another eight from Firefighters, while ASEM11 has launched a psychosocial care device for victims and relatives at Atocha station.
