The President of the Government of Aragón, Jorge Azcón, has indicated that he is following "with concern" the evolution of the serious railway accident registered in the early hours of this Wednesday in the province of Toledo. Likewise, he has communicated that from the Aragonese Government "we have already put all our resources" at the service of the Government of Castilla-La Mancha.

"From the @GobAragon we have already put all our resources at the disposal of the @gobjccm to collaborate in the rescue and assistance efforts", the head of the regional Executive wrote in a message published on the social network 'X' and collected by Europa Press.

In that same publication, he has emphasized: "All my support to the emergency teams and to the families and loved ones of the passengers".

The accident took place at 8:54 a.m. this Wednesday, when an AVE train collided with another convoy of the company Iryo on the Madrid-Seville line, near the station in the Toledo town of Urda. The Government of Castilla-La Mancha has confirmed, for the moment, at least ten people dead.
