The PSPV and Compromís have demanded that the national leadership of the PP make public the alleged dossier on supposed "irregularities" linked to the environment of the 'president' of the Generalitat and leader of the PPCV, Juanfran Pérez Llorca, considering that the Valencian citizenry has the "right to know" what this material contains. "If the PP does not trust Llorca, why should we trust him?", they have raised.
From the Valencian PP, they have avoided delving into the substance of the matter and have refused to evaluate "gossip" or "tabloid" issues, emphasizing that the "only dossier" they are aware of is the one prepared by the Ministry of the Interior, which "marks" journalists and commentators "by their ideology". Vox, for its part, has indicated that it has "little to say" as it is a "competence of another party".
The positions were expressed at the press conference following the meeting of syndics this Tuesday, after being asked about information from 'Levante-EMV' that points out that certain sectors of the Valencian PP would have conveyed to 'Génova' rumors about possible irregular behaviors in the environment of Pérez Llorca, both from his closest circle and from high-ranking officials of his Consell.
The syndic of the PSPV, José Muñoz, has urged 'Génova' to make this alleged dossier public and has interpreted that its existence would demonstrate the "extreme weakness" of the head of the Consell. "If the PP does not trust Llorca, why should we trust him? Why don't they make that dossier public?", he has reiterated.
In this line, he has maintained that Llorca "cannot be ratified" as the PPCV candidate for the Generalitat and has called on the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, to "make those documents public" or, "at least, if he is aware of a crime, fulfill his civic duty and go to the Prosecutor's Office to present the documentation".
Muñoz has also emphasized the "dark side" of Pérez Llorca, mentioning "the constructions on his property, his illegal pool, the family-owned company arranged with Russian businessmen, or the hospitals that are being built in Finestrat". "Something is happening," he hinted.
PSPV and Compromís demand transparency from Génova
The spokesperson of Compromís, Joan Baldoví, has described the information about the alleged report on Llorca as "very serious" and has defended that the Valencian citizens have "the same right as the PP to know what those irregularities and suspicions are," for which he has asked 'Génova' to disseminate the content of that alleged dossier.
He has pointed out, however, that his coalition is not interested in the "internal wars of the PP," but he has insisted that the Valencians must know if their president is "absolutely clean or stained by corruption."
In this context, Baldoví has wondered if the information about Llorca "will have to do with his hidden properties that do not appear in the asset declaration, with the hotel of the Pérez Llorca family with Russian investors, with the illegal pool that was built in his chalet or with the nepotism of his partner in the Diputació de València."
The PP shifts the focus to the Interior report
The spokesperson of the PP, Nando Pastor, has refused to comment on what was published, considering it a "joke" and a matter of "tabloid press," and has again emphasized that the "only dossier" known is that of the Ministry of the Interior led by Fernando Grande-Marlaska about 300 journalists and commentators "marked by their ideological pedigree." "The rest seems to me a joke, I don't want to talk about tabloid press," he concluded.
