Noor Ben Yessef signs with La Séptima and becomes one of the main faces of the new national TDT channel that is preparing its launch for the next November 5.
The journalist from Seville will be in charge of a daily current affairs analysis program in prime time, one of the strategic slots of the future schedule. Her incorporation raises to eight the known faces so far of the project promoted by José Miguel Contreras.
Ben Yessef joins Javier Ruiz, Rocío Delgado, Alba Carrillo, Marta Márquez, Héctor de Miguel, Luján Argüelles, and Sarah Santaolalla, whose signings have been revealed over the past few weeks.
What program will Noor Ben Yessef present on La Séptima
The new addition will have a significant weight within the programming. Ben Yessef will host a daily magazine in prime time dedicated to current affairs analysis.
The space aims to combine a review of the main news of the day with analysis and conversation, in line with the television model that Contreras has outlined for the new channel.
The nighttime slot will be one of the areas where La Séptima will have to make its way against established news and analysis formats on other channels.
The journalist will join the project after concluding her stage at Atresmedia, where she became one of the faces of the morning news on Antena 3 for four seasons.
After leaving Antena 3 Noticias, she also went through the newsroom of "Espejo Público" before leaving the audiovisual group.
The eight known signings of La Séptima
The new channel has been progressively revealing the faces of its first season.
Javier Ruiz was the first big name known from the project and will serve as editorial director of La Séptima.
Then came Rocío Delgado, who will have a daily program within the new schedule.
Alba Carrillo and Marta Márquez will be together at the helm of "Out of Control", one of the first programs whose name has been revealed.
They have been joined by Héctor de Miguel, Quequé, who returns to an audiovisual project in this way after announcing a temporary retirement at the beginning of the year.
Luján Argüelles will take on a magazine during the weekend mornings, while Sarah Santaolalla will also have her own space on the new channel.
The last known name is now Noor Ben Yessef, responsible for occupying one of the main slots of the channel with her daily prime time program.

When La Séptima starts broadcasting
The date marked on the calendar is November 5, 2026, when La Séptima is expected to begin its national broadcasts via DTT.
The project is driven by José Miguel Contreras, one of the founders of laSexta, and aims to build much of its programming around live information, current affairs, analysis, and conversation.
The channel has proposed a model with less weight of usual elements of generalist television, such as series, cinema, or large entertainment formats.
Before the premiere, another key date will arrive. La Séptima will officially present its project during the FesTVal of Vitoria, which takes place this September.
The presentation will allow for a more precise understanding of how the programs will be distributed, what schedules the new hires will occupy, and what other names may complete the lineup before the start of the broadcasts.
Who is Noor Ben Yessef
Noor Ben Yessef, 30 years old, developed much of her recent television career at Atresmedia.
During four seasons she co-presented the morning edition of Antena 3 Noticias, a stage that made her one of the regular faces of the channel's news programs.
After leaving the news program, she briefly went through the newsroom of "Espejo Público" and later left Atresmedia. In recent months, she has also developed an interview project in podcast format.
Her arrival at La Séptima now represents her return to a daily television format and her leap to prime time, where she will lead one of the main news bets of the new channel.
