Orange España has generated 5.673 billion euros during the first nine months of 2026, 2% more than in the same period of the previous year. The evolution accelerated in the third quarter, when the company reached 1.910 billion euros, with a year-on-year growth of 3.5%, driven by the business segment, new services, and good commercial performance.

Between July and September, the operator added 188,000 mobile, fixed broadband, and new service customers. In parallel, the wholesale business and device sales maintained a positive evolution, while the company continued to advance in the execution of the synergies planned after its integration into the Orange Group.

The CEO of Orange España, Meinrad Spenger, highlighted the acceleration of growth during the third quarter, both in total revenues and in business customers and new services, which he pointed out as the main areas of expansion.

Devices and wholesale business drive revenues

Wholesale revenues reached 491 million euros between January and September, 9.5% more than a year earlier. Only in the third quarter, this activity generated 179 million, with a year-on-year increase of 3.6%.

The sale of devices recorded an even greater advance. Its billing amounted to 995 million euros in the first nine months, 18.8% more. Between July and September, revenues from this segment reached 353 million, 28% above the same quarter of 2025.

The company also sequentially improved the growth of service revenues, supported by the expansion of the business segment, the development of new activities and the evolution of average revenue per customer of convergent packages.

As for the expected efficiencies, Orange España maintains the goal of exceeding 430 million euros in accumulated savings during 2026. The company has also reaffirmed its annual EBITDAaL targets, supported, according to the statement, by the evolution of its various business lines.

More than 33 million lines and growth in the business market

Orange España added nearly 12,000 postpaid mobile customers and 7,000 fixed broadband customers during the third quarter. The other 169,000 correspond to new services. In total, the company has more than 33 million lines, not including M2M connections: around 26 million are mobile, with more than 22 million postpaid customers, and nearly 7.2 million correspond to fixed broadband accesses.

By incorporating M2M lines, the total managed rises to 48 million. The company also improved the convergent ARPO, which measures the average revenue per customer of combined services, to 53.1 euros in the third quarter.

The business aimed at companies and public administrations maintained its growth trajectory during the first nine months of the year. Revenues increased in all segments, from freelancers and small businesses to SMEs, large companies, and public bodies.

Orange's strategy involves expanding its activity in value-added digital services and reinforcing its role as a technology partner, beyond traditional connectivity. In this area, the company highlights its position in the deployment of Stand Alone 5G private networks, with projects in strategic infrastructures such as the ports of Barcelona and Valencia and the airports of Madrid, Barcelona, and Palma de Mallorca.

This activity is complemented by solutions for smart cities, including the Digital Twin platform developed for the City Council of Madrid.

New corporate identity and investment in connectivity

Orange España has recently adopted a new corporate identity that explicitly incorporates the reference to Spain. The change aims to simplify the company's image, strengthen the visibility of the Orange brand, and emphasize its connection to the national market, while also leveraging the scale and international recognition of the group and its position as a European telecommunications operator.

The company frames this new stage in the growth following its complete integration into the Orange Group. According to the note, its activity generates nearly 55,000 direct and indirect jobs and accumulates a historic investment close to 50 billion euros, mainly aimed at the deployment of telecommunications infrastructures.

In fiber optics, the network reaches more than 32 million marketable homes. In mobile, 5G coverage reaches 94% of the Spanish population and connects around 5,250 municipalities.

The company also maintains its commitment to extend next-generation networks to rural areas and smaller towns. In recent months, it has added 235 new 5G sites in 182 municipalities, including areas with very low population density, some of them with just over 50 inhabitants.

The expansion aims to facilitate access to digital services regardless of the place of residence and reduce the connectivity gap between territories.

In this line, the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function has provisionally proposed Orange Spain as the main awardee of the first call for aid of the program "#5G Very Rural Networks". The proposal amounts to 12.2 million euros, nearly 70% of the aid, to deploy 82 new sites in isolated areas. Among the planned areas are small municipalities, some of them without coverage from any telecommunications operator.

The company has eight national brands —Orange, Yoigo, Jazztel, MASMOVIL, simyo, Pepephone, Lebara, and Llamaya— and five regional ones —Euskaltel, R, Telecable, Guuk, and Embou—. In addition to mobile, broadband, and television services, its offer includes insurance, energy, alarms, consumer financing, health, cybersecurity, private 5G networks, and cloud services.
