The festival is held from October 26 to 31 in Camp de Mar (Andratx), with more than 80 activities that combine Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, yoga, wellness and cultural experiences
The organization of the Mallorca BJJ & Yoga Festival, headed by its founder, Joe Notebaert, has presented the ninth edition of the festival, which is held from October 26 to 31, 2026 at the H10 Blue Mar Hotel in Camp de Mar (Andratx).
The hotel, reserved entirely for the festival, hosts the activities in its facilities and in outdoor spaces equipped with tents and more than 500 square meters of tatami mats, offering an environment adapted to the needs of the event.
One of the main pillars of the festival is the fusion between Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and yoga, two complementary disciplines. According to the organization, yoga helps improve fundamental skills for martial arts, such as flexibility, concentration and serenity, also facilitating initiation into BJJ.
Beyond these disciplines, the festival offers a program of more than 80 activities, which includes dance, meditation, water activities, workshops and wellness-related experiences. In the words of its founder, the Mallorca BJJ & Yoga Festival represents, above all, an opportunity to connect people beyond sport.
This edition has recorded a growth of 8% in participation, with attendees from different countries. Particularly noteworthy is the increase in participants from the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Croatia and Germany, reinforcing the international and multicultural character of the gathering.
The festival also seeks to bring Mallorcan culture and traditions closer to international participants. Among the planned activities, a special dinner stands out, which will serve as a space for coexistence and cultural exchange, with local products and proposals from Mallorcan gastronomy.
Since its beginnings, the festival has had an excellent reception in Mallorca, being held in different municipalities. The organization has reaffirmed its intention to continue developing it on the island, contributing to its international projection and supporting local BJJ and yoga schools.
The event is co-financed with the Fund of the Sustainable Tourism Tax of the Govern de les Illes Balears and has the support of the Foundation Turismo Responsable de Mallorca.
Another of the standout aspects of this edition is its commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility. The program includes an environmental awareness day in which participants will collaborate in a beach cleanup, contributing to the conservation of the natural environment and encouraging responsible practices.
In the social sphere, the festival incorporates self-defense classes aimed at women, as well as talks on the role of women in martial arts, promoting equality, respect, and participation through sport.
With this ninth edition, the Mallorca BJJ & Yoga Festival 2026 continues evolving in its sports, cultural, and social offering, with the aim of establishing itself as a international benchmark event in sports and wellness tourism, contributing to positioning Mallorca as a destination for this type of experience.
