DayOne, the division of CaixaBank specialized in technology companies and their investors, "consolidates its positioning as a benchmark bank for the innovation economy" after chaining continuous growth during the first half of 2026, according to the entity's communication this Tuesday.
In the first half of the fiscal year, DayOne has expanded its client portfolio by 5% compared to the end of 2025 and now exceeds 5,500 clients. At the same time, the firm has recorded "a very positive evolution" in its commercial activity, with an 11.9% advance in new investment production in the first half compared to the same period of the previous year.
"Beyond its financial activity, DayOne plays a key role as a dynamizer of the entrepreneurial and innovative ecosystem in Spain through initiatives that promote the growth and visibility of startups," they emphasize from the entity.
Among these initiatives stand out the EmprendeXXI Awards, which in their latest edition received more than 1,000 applications and which, throughout their 19 calls, have allocated more than 10 million euros in prizes and support actions, benefiting more than 560 companies.
"These figures reflect DayOne's sustained commitment to the development of entrepreneurship, contributing not only to facilitating access to financing but also to accelerating the growth of innovative projects, fostering the connection between entrepreneurs and investors, and strengthening the competitiveness of the technological business fabric," they highlight from CaixaBank.
