The investment fund CVC Capital Partners has announced that Todd Sisitsky, coming from the private equity firm Texas Pacific Group (TPG), and Peter Rutland, current chairman of CVC, will jointly assume the position of co-CEOs instead of the CEO Rob Lucas, whose departure is scheduled for the first quarter of 2028.

"This decision reflects CVC's consolidated approach to succession planning at the highest levels of the company. These appointments are consistent with the deliberate and multi-year transitions that have characterized previous leadership changes across the platform. It also reinforces CVC's ongoing strategic focus on performance, growth, and diversification," they have reflected from the fund.

Sisitsky comes from TPG, where he has recently served as chairman and co-chairman of the management committee, playing a key role in the development of organic and inorganic growth strategies. The new senior executive of CVC began his career as an investor specialized in the healthcare sector and as head of TPG Capital, the flagship fund of the firm.

As for Rutland, he has 19 years of experience at CVC, where he is managing partner and chairman, in addition to overseeing credit and insurance strategies, secondary markets, and infrastructure. This is complemented by his responsibility as leader of the global team focused on the financial services sector for years.
