The National Innovation Company (Enisa), a public entity dependent on the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, has surpassed the threshold of 10,000 loans granted to innovative companies at different stages of development.
According to the entity itself, this milestone has been reached thanks to the continued work of its team and the implementation of funds from the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism integrated into the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
In addition, it has specified that for every euro that Enisa allocates to financing, an additional 3.29 euros of private capital are mobilized.
The CEO of Enisa, Carolina Rodríguez, has emphasized that surpassing this mark demonstrates that public financing is "essential" to support the talent of each company and reach the entire territory.
Similarly, the executive has highlighted that the companies supported by Enisa help to drive wealth creation and the generation of quality employment.
To these advances is added the function of certifying emerging companies that the entity performs, which has so far reached a total of 2,527 accredited companies.
Enisa has also highlighted its international projection, reflected in mentions from the OECD and in the signing of a guarantee agreement of up to 40 million euros with the European Investment Fund, aimed at improving access to financing for SMEs and startups.
Among the companies that have received participatory loans from Enisa are Cabify, with 200,000 euros; Filmin, with 300,000 euros; Komvida, with 275,000 euros; Marsi Bionics, with two credits of 100,000 and 200,000 euros; PLD Space, with two operations of 200,000 and 675,000 euros; Silbon, with 50,000 euros; and Singularu, with 75,000 euros.
To date, Enisa has granted 10,004 loans to 8,654 companies, for a total volume of 1.551 billion euros invested, establishing itself as an alternative financing route through participatory loans ranging from 25,000 to 1.5 million euros, without requiring more collateral than the project itself and the management team.
