BME has decided to lift the suspension of trading that weighed on Holaluz's shares since July 20, after the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge archived the disqualification and customer transfer procedures opened against the company. Thus, the marketer will resume trading starting this Tuesday.

The shares of the electric company, which are traded in the BME Growth segment, were frozen at a price of 0.8260 euros at the time the suspension was decreed.

In a note sent to the market, the stock exchange manager explained that the suspension is lifted as the circumstances that could alter the normal functioning of the trading have disappeared.

The Official State Gazette (BOE) published this Saturday the resolution of the Ministry that ends the procedures for the extinction of the authorization to carry out the activity of electricity marketing of Holaluz-Clidom and the transfer of its customers to a reference marketer, agreeing to its definitive filing.

The previous Friday, the marketer had already informed of the decision of the department headed by Sara Aagesen and expressed its satisfaction with the filing of the files by the Ministry.

The company insisted from the beginning that the origin of the file "was a specific situation derived from a discrepancy regarding the enforceability of certain invoices."

According to Holaluz, the case "did not respond to a willful default nor to a financial situation that prevented the company from regularly meeting its obligations."

The procedure was opened after several claims related to the enforceability of invoices from three suppliers, for a total amount of 4,392,776.82 euros, "which had a payment plan."

In this regard, the company emphasized that both the invoices in dispute and the subsequent ones are "fully settled and Holaluz is up to date with its obligations to the distributors."

Furthermore, it stated that the company is "healthy," despite the cash adjustments suffered due to regulatory decisions such as the RD Response to the Middle East Crisis.

On this point, the co-founder and CEO of Holaluz, Carlota Pi, recalled that, from the beginning, they defended that it was a specific administrative file limited in time: "We were convinced that it would be resolved favorably. Today we can close that chapter." "We have approximately 1% of the market and, however, only we are talked about. We must be changing something," she emphasized.
