The European Investment Bank (EIB) has granted Impress financing in the form of debt for an amount of 40 million euros, aimed at strengthening and evolving its artificial intelligence (AI) architecture.

The network of orthodontic clinics aims to enhance the development of its AI technology in its 110 centers (22 of them in Spain) and, at the same time, give a boost to its growth strategy in the European market.

Impress aims to create "a comprehensive health ecosystem based on artificial intelligence designed to unify patient treatment from start to finish." This proposal includes everything from the 3D intraoral scanners used in the clinics, which can anticipate tooth movement more accurately than traditional molds, to the individualized treatment planning supported by AI, and the continuous patient monitoring through Impress's own mobile app.

"Our technology features an artificial intelligence engine powered by a global database of 500,000 patients, which allows us to multiply the efficiency of our clinics tenfold, reduce in-person visits by 80%, and make quality medical care more accessible. The backing of the EIB (...) confirms our vision and places us in a position of advantage to consolidate our model in the region," said the co-founder and CEO of Impress, Vladimir Lupenko.

After strengthening its presence in southern Europe, where Spain, Portugal, and Italy act as key markets, Impress is preparing for a new stage of international growth oriented towards the north of the continent, with special attention to Germany and the Netherlands.
