The manager Vanguard has launched the "Vanguard USD High Yield Corporate Bond UCITS ETF," an exchange-traded fund (ETF, for its initials in English) focused on "high yield" bonds and denominated in US dollars.
According to the firm, in a statement, the vehicle will be traded on the London Stock Exchange, Deutsche Börse, Borsa Italiana, Euronext Amsterdam, and SIX Swiss.
The ETF tracks the performance of the "Bloomberg US High Yield $250MM 2% Issuer Capped" index, which provides diversified exposure to US dollar-denominated corporate bonds rated below investment grade and applies a total management cost of 0.15%.
This launch is part of the process of expanding Vanguard's UCITS ETF offering and becomes the tenth equity product in 2026.
The product and PRD director for Europe at Vanguard, Claire Aley, has stated that they present this vehicle "at a time when many are looking to enhance the income of their portfolios, manage duration risk, and broaden diversification."
