At least three people have lost their lives this Sunday in an Israeli airstrike against the campus of the Islamic University of Gaza, located in the western area of the city of Gaza. This is the second bombing in a week against this academic center and raises the total number of deceased students and one professor to ten, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Education cited by the news agency Wafa.

Among the fatalities are nine minors aged between six and 16 years, in addition to a teacher identified as Ahmed Zuhair Abu Auda.

The Ministry has emphasized the death of "Fátima al Bayuk," an eight-year-old girl who was the only survivor of her family, whose members died in a bombing against their home at the end of 2023. The minor has died due to the injuries sustained days earlier from Israeli gunfire east of Deir al Balá.

In total, at least eight Palestinians would have died during the day on Sunday in various Israeli attacks, including one person who died in a bombing in the east of Khan Younis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.

Also, "Fausi Salem al Sauarka," 54 years old, has lost his life in a drone attack near Hamad Hospital, northwest of Gaza City. In the south of the Palestinian enclave, brothers "Nabil Ahmed Abú Zayed" —25 years old— and "Alaa Ahmed Abú Zayed" have died in another bombing near the Japanese clinic, in Khan Younis.

Finally, "Hamdan Salman Abú Amra," 33 years old, has died in an Israeli drone attack in Al Mazraa, east of Deir al Balá, in the central area of the Strip.

The Gaza Health Ministry, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), has updated the number of Palestinians killed to 74,544 and the number of injured to 175,692 since the beginning of the war on October 7, 2023. In the last 24 hours, the agency has recorded four deaths and 14 injuries.

Additionally, health authorities have indicated that, of this total, 1,551 people have died and 5,573 have been injured since the beginning of the ceasefire agreed upon in October 2025, while hospitals and medical personnel continue to face an extremely serious health and humanitarian situation in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
