At least three Palestinians have lost their lives this Wednesday in the Gaza Strip as a result of a new series of bombings carried out by the Israeli Army against the enclave, despite the ceasefire agreed upon in October 2025 as part of the proposal promoted by the United States regarding the future of the territory, accepted by both Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
According to information published by the Palestinian newspaper "Filastin," the deceased Civil Protection worker, identified as Mohamed Tamus, was hit while heading to evacuate several injured individuals near the Kamal Aduan Hospital.
The Civil Protection of Gaza has lamented "the martyrdom" of Tamus and has emphasized that the Palestinian "volunteered to work with Civil Protection teams to deliver humanitarian aid to the people since the beginning of the extermination war, refusing to leave his post until he fell martyr."
Additionally, another Palestinian has died in an airstrike against the Qizan Rashuán area, south of the city of Khan Younis, while a third deceased person has been transferred to a hospital in the enclave, with no details provided so far about the exact location where that attack occurred.
Hours later, the Israeli Army has claimed that it has killed two "terrorists" from Hamas, stating that both were leaving the Kamal Aduan Hospital and that one of them "placed improvised explosive devices brought from inside" the medical center on the yellow line "with the objective" of attacking its troops.
In a message disseminated on its social media, the Israeli Army has denounced that "Hamas continues to cynically use hospitals and medical infrastructures in the Gaza Strip for terrorist purposes, violating International Law, by turning spaces intended for the care of the civilian population into spaces that serve to promote terrorist activities and restore the military capabilities of the organization. This activity endangers the civilian population."
For its part, the Islamist group has categorically rejected these accusations, emphasizing that the claims about armed men leaving the Kamal Aduan Hospital are "false and unfounded."
"They are a continuation of the propaganda previously disseminated by the occupation about the existence of headquarters of the Movement within hospitals that it had already occupied," it has pointed out in a note disseminated by "Filastin" in which it recalls that there are international organizations working within "those" hospital centers.
Hamas has also framed the Israeli accusations within its "systematic and ongoing Zionist campaign of incitement and disinformation, which is used to justify attacks against hospitals and civilian facilities and serves as a pretext to continue the aggression."
The authorities of the Gaza Strip, controlled by Hamas, placed the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks since the ceasefire came into effect at 1,460 on Tuesday, while more than 74,200 have died since the beginning of the offensive launched after the attacks of October 7, 2023, which left about 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to the official balance.
