The Houthi militias of Yemen announced this Monday that they have carried out a new offensive with missiles and drones against various military and economic targets located in Saudi territory, presented as a response to the recent bombings by Saudi Arabia on Yemen.

"The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out three military operations with a large number of ballistic and cruise missiles and drones," explained the military spokesman for the Houthis, Yahya Sari.

According to the balance disseminated by the movement, one of the attacks was directed against King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh through "a precise and direct attack" that "has caused disruptions in air traffic."

Another of the selected targets has been the refinery of the oil company Aramco in Rabigh, also with "a precise and direct attack" that would have triggered a fire at the facilities.

In the third operation, the Houthi forces have targeted Abha Airport, the JAmis Mushait airbase, the Aqifa barracks (Asir), and "other critical points" located in the regions of Najran and Jizan, all of them in the south of Saudi Arabia.

Additionally, Sari reiterated the warning "to all international airlines" to cease flights in Saudi airspace because "it is an operational area of our forces, with the exception of the sacred airspace of Mecca and Medina," the holy Muslim places par excellence. "We decline any responsibility for the consequences of ignoring this warning," he argued.

The Houthi military spokesman has denounced the Saudi "aggression" with 60 airstrikes in the last 24 hours against the capital, Sana'a, and the provinces of Al Jawf, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, and Marib that "have caused civilian casualties, including women and children." In total, the Houthis have counted 1,576 Saudi attacks since the beginning of the last escalation.
