The security device of the former Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris prevented access on Friday to a person who tried to enter irregularly into one of her residences in Malibu, without any arrests being made, as confirmed by both the environment of the Democratic leader and the authorities of Los Angeles County.

Harris's spokesperson, Eduardo Negrón, indicated that "the security staff intercepted an individual who illegally entered the property," before stating that the man did not manage to reach the house.

Similarly, he explained that neither Harris nor her husband, Doug Emhoff, were in the house at that time. "They are grateful to the security staff and the authorities for their quick response," he stated in remarks given to 'The Hill'.

For its part, the Los Angeles County sheriff's office detailed that its agents responded on Friday around 10:30 PM (local time) after "a call about a suspicious person" in the area.

"When the agents arrived, they contacted the private security staff of the property. The agents warned and urged the person, who was outside the premises, to leave the place, and this person left voluntarily and without incident," it noted.

In this regard, it added that security forces will increase patrols in the area as a preventive measure. Harris maintained her protection team after the President of the United States, Donald Trump, revoked the coverage provided by the Secret Service after succeeding the Democrat Joe Biden in the White House.
