The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has come out this Friday in defense of Elon Musk in light of the connectivity problems that Ukraine is suffering with Starlink, the satellite internet service of the company SpaceX owned by the magnate, considered essential for the defense and military operations of Ukraine.

"He is a great person. He is not going to do anything wrong, he is a brilliant person or Starlink would not exist," Trump praised from the gardens of the White House when asked about the recent complaints from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky regarding the service's speed limitations.

Trump emphasized that he knows Musk "very well" and does not consider him capable of acting improperly. "He is a fair person," added the American president, who has committed to convey the criticisms to the head of SpaceX. "I have heard that the problem has been solved, but if not, I will talk to him," he assured.

Zelensky has reported that the Starlink terminals stop operating or lose signal when drones exceed speeds of between 130 and 161 kilometers per hour, which seriously harms both offensive and defensive missions and, consequently, endangers lives on the ground.

These connectivity failures have occurred after the United States asked Ukraine to stop its attacks on Russian refineries, in the context of the agreement between Washington and Moscow to ease sanctions on diesel, a request that Zelensky has refused due to the absence of reciprocal gestures from the Kremlin.
