The president of the United States, Donald Trump, has alerted this Sunday about the "problem" that, in his opinion, has posed for Spain the arrival of "hundreds of thousands" of immigrants "a month ago," in a clear allusion to the massive entry of more than 80,000 migrants in Ceuta from Morocco on July 30.
"Look at what they are doing to Europe. Look at Spain. Hundreds of thousands of people slipped into Spain a month ago. Then I said 'Oh. That's going to be a problem,'" Trump pointed out during a telephone interview granted to the Fox News network.
Next, the American president contrasted "the people who have been in Spain for hundreds of years with their family, their lineage" to "those who slip into their country," whom he described as "angry people."
In the same intervention, he insisted that "the people who are causing problems are people who hate Spain, hate France, and hate Italy. They are not from there. They hate them," thus concluding his criticism of irregular immigration in Europe.
