At least two people have been injured this Wednesday after the explosion of an object still unidentified in the vicinity of the central train station of Augsburg, in southern Germany, according to local authorities.
According to the Police, the detonation occurred in an underground passage near the tracks, causing material damage and leaving two minor injuries, as reported by the German news agency DPA.
The security forces have also indicated that rail traffic in the area has been affected and have specified that the station has been "closed" after a second suspicious object was found, without further details being provided about this latest discovery so far.
