The Government of Spain has expressed this Friday its condemnation "in the most forceful terms" regarding the attack carried out in a church located in the center of Jordan, an attack in which 7 people have lost their lives and more than 30 have been injured.
In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation has stated that "Spain conveys its deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, wishes a speedy recovery to the injured, and expresses its heartfelt solidarity to the Government, the people, and the Christian community of Jordan."
The department led by Foreign Affairs has also added its "firm support" to the Jordanian authorities in the fight they maintain against terrorism and has reiterated "its rejection and its fight" against hate speech, which it has described as "contrary to the values of peace and humanity."
