The former president of the Junta de Andalucía, Susana Díaz, has stated this Thursday that it is "urgent and mandatory" for the PSOE to file a lawsuit against its former member Leire Díez, "whoever has to fall," while censuring that the party has not already proceeded with her expulsion.
During an interview on "Espejo Público" on "Antena 3," collected by Europa Press, the socialist senator expressed her confidence that the PSOE will not end up being indicted, although she insisted that the party must denounce the so-called "Leire case."
SHE CRITICIZES THAT LEIRE DÍEZ HAS NOT BEEN EXPELLED FROM THE PARTY
Along these lines, she added that "by filing a lawsuit as soon as possible," it is avoided that the media focus on a possible involvement of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, in the alleged scheme to influence judicial proceedings affecting socialist officials.
Regarding Díez, the former Andalusian leader has criticized her party for not proceeding with her expulsion from membership and recalled that, by having deregistered, "she can return to the party." Similarly, she has demanded that "all those who had conducted themselves in this manner" be expelled.
