AND NOW WHAT?
The decision. The two housing decrees have been repealed, the President of the Government Pedro Sánchez must decide what to do: whether to continue the legislature and try to approve a new regulation with Junts or dissolve the Cortes Generales and call for elections that, in principle, he intended to convene in the first months of 2027.
Electoral clock. The electoral buzz is undeniable and there is a date that is gaining traction: November 29. Given that the calendar is set by law and LOREG establishes 54 days, the call should be published in the BOE on Tuesday, October 6. Given this situation, Sánchez could reveal the future this Monday in a statement.
CEUTA
Situation report. The Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, appears before the Commission for the control of credits allocated to reserved expenses, commonly known as ‘Official Secrets’, to report on their use behind closed doors, as is customary. Robles herself expressed her desire to explain the warnings issued by Spanish intelligence prior to the massive entry of migrants on July 30. Tuesday, 11:30 AM. Congress.
The Senate tightens. The Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, appears before his branch's Commission in the Senate to account for the episode in Ceuta and the current situation. SAHARAWI NATIONALITY
Mutilated law. The Senate votes on the bill promoted by Sumar and approved in Congress to grant nationality to those born in Western Sahara before 1977 and their descendants. A text that, however, has been modified, and a lot, by the PP, which demands a minimum residence in Spain of two years. The text will return to Congress. Wednesday, 09:00 AM. Congress.
