Expo AgriTech 2026, considered the main technological event for the agricultural sector, announced this Friday in Seville the details of its third edition, which will take place on November 4 and 5 at the Palace of Fairs and Congresses of Málaga (Fycma) under the slogan "Transform your field, boost your future." The meeting will showcase the most advanced solutions that are revolutionizing the management of farms towards more efficient, competitive, and environmentally friendly models.
The presentation brought together in Seville agri-food companies, cooperatives, and farmers, as well as the main agricultural organizations such as Asaja, UPA, Agricultural Cooperatives of Andalusia, Ifapa, or Tecnova, among others, who have revealed the innovative proposals they will bring to the fair this year. Alongside them, more than 250 exhibiting companies will showcase the cutting-edge technology that is transforming the field in front of more than 8,000 professionals from the sector, including farm owners, farmers, agronomists, and technicians, as well as representatives from cooperatives, agricultural associations, and young producers.
Attendees will seek cutting-edge solutions in state-of-the-art machinery, precision agriculture, efficient irrigation systems, tools to optimize crop yields, advanced fertilization, agroenergy, post-harvest equipment, biofertilizers, and developments related to 4.0 farming, among other areas.
The event's organization has emphasized that the field faces challenges marked by the current geopolitical and economic situation: from the effects of climate and regulatory changes to the rising production costs, the obligation to move towards more sustainable models, or the issue of generational change.
AgriTech 4.0 Congress: experts and technology applied to the field
These issues, along with the need to apply technological innovation practically in farms, will be analyzed at the AgriTech 4.0 Congress, which will bring together more than 300 specialists such as Thomas Fellman --European Commission--, Antonio Domene --Moyca--, Víctor Luque --Trops--, María Dolores Guillén --Unica--, Patricia López --Fresón de Palos--, Patricia Rodríguez --IberoPistacho--, Rafael Domínguez --Freshuelva--, Juan Jesús Lara --CASI--, Juan Antonio Reyes --Reyes Gutiérrez--, Carlos Barceló --Primaflor--, or Alfredo Arbeloa --Grupo AN--, among many others.
In this context, the director of the AgriTech 4.0 Congress, Guadalupe López, has reminded that "the farmer needs concrete answers to a rapidly changing global market. Technology already allows for the automation of tasks, better understanding of what happens in each crop, using resources more precisely, and making data-supported decisions. Our goal is to bring together all that innovation in this congress and, above all, teach how it can really be applied in a farm."
The program of the congress will be structured in several vertical forums where novelties for extensive crops, olive groves, horticultural and berry crops, woody crops will be presented, in addition to spaces focused on agriculture 4.0, regenerative agriculture, water and irrigation management, biotechnological solutions, Artificial Intelligence, robotics, and automation.
Likewise, specific agendas aimed at different professional profiles will be developed, such as owners of agricultural farms, agronomists, cooperatives, agricultural technical engineers, and young farmers. As in previous editions, Expo AgriTech will again offer a complete program of parallel activities aimed at fostering synergies and quality networking.
Awards and initiatives to promote agricultural innovation
During the fair, a new edition of the AgriTech Innovation Awards 2026 will be held, "the most prestigious awards in the sector that distinguish the companies that are leading the modernization of the countryside, as well as the recognized AgriTech Startup Forum competition, which will connect the most disruptive emerging companies dedicated to the agro field with investors and potential partners."
In the same way, Málaga will once again host the Chaleco Agricultor Awards, "the Michelin Stars of Agriculture," which will recognize the professionals in the field in Spain who stand out for their commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the incorporation of technology in their farms.
As an additional element, this year Asaja will organize its Young Farmer Awards 2026 within the framework of the fair. Expo AgriTech, which has been held in Málaga since 2024, has the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Rural Development of the Junta de Andalucía, Agapa, and various entities in the sector.
