The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development has launched a new call for aid aimed at Fishermen's Brotherhoods, their federations, and other public entities for a total of 15,000 euros. This amount is added to the credit increase of 30,000 euros published on July 31, linked to the support line for the improvement of marketing through promotional campaigns for fishing and aquaculture products, with the global budget of this line reaching 6,585,000 euros.

The new call, disseminated this Monday in the Official Bulletin of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA), aims to financially support the Fishermen's Brotherhoods, their federations, and other public entities in launching promotional campaigns for fishing and aquaculture products.

With this budget extension, the allocation intended to finance these promotional campaigns increases from 70,000 to 85,000 euros, which will make it possible to cover all submitted applications.

This call is part of the aid line for investments in the marketing and transformation of fishing and aquaculture products aimed at individuals and private entities. The budget for this line was already reinforced on July 13 with an increase of 1.5 million euros, bringing it to nearly 6.6 million euros, with the aim of continuing to enhance the competitiveness and added value of the sector.

After this new extension, the total budget of the line is set at 6.6 million euros, distributed in 85,000 euros for promotional campaigns, two million euros for investments in 2026, and 4.5 million for investments in 2027.

These aids, called under the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (Fempa) 2021-2027, aim to strengthen the competitiveness of the Andalusian fishing and aquaculture sector, promoting both the marketing of its products and investments aimed at optimizing their marketing and transformation.
