BBVA is incorporating artificial intelligence solutions into the key processes of its corporate banking area, covering customer service, specialized advice, risk management, and the development of new technological tools.
This push is framed within the recent creation of the global AI Transformation organization, designed to accelerate the design, implementation, and expansion of artificial intelligence initiatives across all areas of the group.
"BBVA led the digital transformation of the financial sector and is now facing a new stage marked by artificial intelligence. We have the scale, data, talent, and ambition necessary to turn this technology into a sustainable competitive advantage in service of our clients," stated the global head of Corporate Banking and Institutions at BBVA, Jaime Sáenz de Tejada.
The entity has detailed that it is advancing in the integration of commercial and risk analysis capabilities with the aim of shortening response times, raising the quality of decisions, and freeing up managers' time so they can focus more on client relationships and less on administrative tasks. This integration "will allow the capabilities deployed in client interaction, advice, and risk analysis to function in an increasingly connected manner."
