The bar "Tapas24" in Barcelona, which celebrates its 20th anniversary with a program of activities throughout 2026, will conclude these commemorations at the beginning of next year with a showcooking led by its founder, the chef and entrepreneur Carles Abellan.

This showcooking will be one of the main gifts for customers for this anniversary: the winners of this event (and other raffles for dinners and experiences) will be announced at the end of the year through the Instagram profile "@tapas24barcelona," the establishment informs in a statement.

Throughout the year, numerous chefs are creating tapas to incorporate them into the restaurant's menu. In the coming months, Raül Balam ("Moments"), Eduard Xatruch, Oriol Castro, Mateu Casañas ("Disfrutar"), Max and Stefano Colombo ("Xemei"), and Marc Ribas, host of the TV3 program "Joc de Cartes," where in 2025 the establishment was considered the best tapas bar in Barcelona, will participate.

So far, Ferran Adrià, pastry chef Christian Escribà, brothers Joan, Josep, and Jordi Roca, Nandu Jubany, Quim Marquès, and specialized journalist Cristina Jolonch have already contributed their proposals.

"Tapas24" has served more than 2 million customers at the location situated at the corner of Diputació and paseo de Gràcia, where it opened in 2006 as a bar for traditional tapas reinterpreted by Abellan.
