The plenary session that the Cortes de Aragón will hold this Thursday will have as its main issue the intervention of President Jorge Azcón, requested by Chunta Aragonesista, to explain in detail the political strategy adopted after the decision not to process any request to declare areas of tense residential market in the Community.
In the same session, the Minister of Economy, Eva Valle, and the head of Deregulation, Alejandro Nolasco, will also intervene. Both will inform, at their own request, about the position of the regional Executive regarding the possible consequences that the regulation of data centers proposed by the Government of Spain would have for investments in Aragón. In addition, they will report, at the initiative of the PSOE, on the criteria, goals, and effects of the change in the subsidy policy of the Government of Aragón regarding equal treatment and non-discrimination.
The parliamentary day will also include the consideration of the bill presented by IU to modify Law 12/2013, of August 2, on measures to improve the functioning of the food chain, and Law 19/1995, of July 4, on the modernization of agricultural holdings.
At the end of the session, there will be a debate and vote on nine non-legislative proposals registered by PP, PSOE, Vox, and Aragón-Teruel Existe.
The Popular Parliamentary Group will defend four initiatives related to "the negative balance of the eight years of Socialist Government of Pedro Sánchez for the autonomous Community," "the attacks on judges and media investigating the corruption plots of the PSOE and the president's family," "the rejection of the Agreement on a new financing model for the autonomous Communities of common regime and cities with autonomy status approved by the Council of Fiscal and Financial Policy," and "the disastrous action of the Government of Spain in the face of the invasion of Ceuta," in addition to a joint proposal with Vox on "the saturation of public services caused by mass immigration."
For its part, the PSOE will bring to the Plenary two proposals for action related to "the acceleration of the Young Rental Voucher and the strengthening of support policies for youth emancipation in Aragón" and "the modification of Law 5/2017, on Integrity and public ethics." Vox will submit another initiative for debate on "the insecurity and situation of young people in Ceuta," while Aragón-Teruel Existe will defend a proposal focused on "the defense of public education."
