Compromís has registered a request for the 'president' of the Generalitat, Juanfran Pérez Llorca, to attend Les Corts in order to "account for" how the Adam flood has been managed, as well as to detail the actions planned to assist the affected people and the reconstruction of the impacted areas.
In statements sent to the media, the spokesperson of Compromís in Les Corts, Joan Baldoví, recalled that next week marks two years since the "fateful" flood of October 2024, in which 233 people lost their lives. "And PP and Vox have already ensured that Pérez Llorca does not go through Les Corts," Baldoví reproached.
The leader of Compromís emphasized that it is "essential" for the head of the Consell to explain "firsthand" how the Consell plans to help those affected by the recent Adam flood. At the same time, he questioned "why" Llorca "maintains" the former head of the Consell during the flood of October 2024, Carlos Mazón, "as a deputy and with privileges of a former president."
