The Administrator of Railway Infrastructures (Adif) announced on the night of this Monday the partial reopening of the high-speed line between Madrid and Barcelona, which had remained interrupted due to a fire.

In a message disseminated on the social network X and reported by Europa Press, the railway manager stated that "after the firefighters finished extinguishing the fire and the subsequent inspection of the infrastructure," circulation has resumed "gradually."

However, Adif has warned that "delays" may occur because, for now, "it will be necessary to travel on a single track" in the section between Ricla and Plasencia de Jalón "until the train affected by the fire is removed."

For this reason, the railway administrator has urged users to consult "with their operator" all "updated" information regarding "the status of their trips and the scheduled times."
