Bankinter has reinforced the features of its 100% digital investment advisory service Capital Advisor, so that now parents and legal guardians can contract this product in the name of minors, as the entity communicated this Thursday.
With this novelty, the bank aims to facilitate that households organize their long-term economic goals related to the future of their children through investment in financial markets in advance. In this way, the tool is aimed at families who want to start investing early to cover future needs of minors, such as paying for university studies, training programs abroad, purchasing a first home, or other projects with a long-term horizon.
From the entity, they emphasize that this extension of the service allows complementing traditional savings with an investment strategy aligned with long-term objectives. "A broad time horizon can offer more time to face market fluctuations and benefit from growth potential and the effect of long-term compounding," they have pointed out from the orange bank.
To implement the solution, parents or legal representatives must set the amount they wish to invest, the risk profile, and their investment preferences. With this data, Capital Advisor will configure a fund portfolio proposal tailored to the characteristics defined by the client.
In any case, the entity led by Gloria Ortiz has emphasized that parents or guardians will always retain "the final decision" and will be able to "accept or not the recommendations received," in addition to adjusting certain elements of the portfolio within the universe of funds that the bank analyzes.
Regarding the access conditions, Bankinter has detailed that Capital Advisor is available for the entity's clients who make a minimum initial investment of 10,000 euros. Likewise, the service offers the possibility of making periodic contributions starting from 100 euros.
