Ferrovial has decided to extend the duration of its share buyback program until March 3, 2027, instead of the initially planned October 15, 2026. This is stated in the communication sent this Monday by the infrastructure group to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
The plan currently in force started on December 15, 2025, and as of September 11, 2026, it has allowed the company to acquire 6,180,574 treasury shares, for a total expenditure of 357,895,778.40 euros.
The company has reiterated that the maximum investment authorization amounts to 800 million euros and that the cap on shares to be repurchased is set at 15 million shares. The rest of the conditions established in 2025 continue to apply without any modification.
Furthermore, Ferrovial maintains the possibility of extending the time horizon of the program again or ending it before the new deadline if the maximum amount planned is reached, the authorized number of shares is completed, or circumstances arise that advise its early termination.
