Latam Airlines plans to inaugurate on March 29, 2027 a new direct connection between Cuzco (Peru) and São Paulo (Brazil), with four weekly flights. This operation will allow travelers from Brazil to access the ancient Inca capital without passing through Lima or making intermediate transfers.

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru, Rogers Valencia, emphasized this Tuesday, in statements to the Andina agency, that "The confidence in Peru is a demonstration of this integration work that Peru and Brazil propose."

Valencia highlighted that this is the first direct air link between Cuzco and a Brazilian city. As he explained, this route will open a process of "cultural and economic integration" of "great potential" that will go beyond mere increases in tourist flow.

The head of Foreign Trade and Tourism added that this new route responds to the shared purpose of both countries to strengthen their bilateral ties through what he defined as "state decisions."
