A Palestinian minor of 14 years has died this Sunday from gunfire by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank, inside the Askar refugee camp, located in the Nablus area.
The official Palestinian news agency WAFA has identified the teenager as Islam Ahmed Ajuri, who has died after not overcoming the injuries caused by the shots received during a military operation carried out inside the camp.
So far, the Israeli Army has not offered any reaction or public assessment regarding what happened.
In a second episode also recorded in the West Bank, near Ramallah, another Palestinian has been injured by fire from Israeli soldiers close to the town of Taybeh and the Israeli settlement of Rimonim.
The injured person, whose identity has not been disclosed, would have received at least one shot fired by a member of the Kfir brigade, according to reports from both the Palestinian agency Sanad and the Israeli Army itself in a statement.
The Israeli Armed Forces maintain that, in this case, the shots were fired in a context of self-defense, alleging that the Palestinian attempted to seize the soldier's assault rifle.
