At least 19 people have been injured this Thursday, five of them in critical condition, after the impact of a freight train against a bus at the entrance to the Eurotunnel near the French town of Pas-de-Calais.
None of the injured are in danger of death, according to the first report from the local prefecture to the TF1 network.
As a consequence of the incident, Eurostar train traffic through the Channel Tunnel has been completely suspended in both directions between France and the United Kingdom, awaiting the sub-prefect of the Calais district, Agathe Cury, to give a press conference around 10:15 PM.
