The Israeli Army reported this Thursday the interception of a drone, allegedly launched by the Shiite militia Hezbollah, against its forces deployed in southern Lebanon, with no injuries among the Israeli ranks.

In a statement released by the Armed Forces, the military command detailed that "Hezbollah launched during the night two explosive drones against elements of the Israel Defense Forces in the area of Ali Taher, in the security zone in southern Lebanon."

According to the same statement, "The IDF fighters shot down one of the drones, while contact was lost with the second. There are no casualties among our forces," before emphasizing that their units "will not allow" Hezbollah to continue launching attacks against their positions in this border strip.
