The Paris Police Prefecture has communicated that it extends until Monday morning the current curfew, which applies from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM in several points of the center of the French capital.

In line with the guidelines set by the Prime Minister, Sébastien Lecornu, and the Minister of the Interior, Laurent Nuñez, "the Prefecture has issued an ordinance establishing the curfew, prohibiting the presence of adults and minors" in the designated areas.

According to the Police, in a message disseminated on social media, these limitations continue to affect "the perimeters of the Place de la République and the Les Halles neighborhood."

The measure is adopted after President Emmanuel Macron expressed his willingness to restrict all calls promoted by non-union organizations, emphasizing that the "general recommendation" is that no demonstrations take place in the coming days.

In parallel, in recent hours, similar prohibitions have been announced in Montpellier, Marseille, Nice, certain areas of Saint-Étienne and Roanne, in addition to Nantes.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Culture has informed that the Parisian museums of the Louvre, Orsay, Picasso, and the Grand Palais will exceptionally remain closed on Saturday due to the protests expected in the capital.
