The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has rejected this Tuesday that Russia and China are providing support to Iran in the context of the crisis opened after the offensive launched in February by the United States and Israel, while defending that both countries "have too much to lose" if they choose to take that step.

"I see many comments from the stupid and lunatic radical left saying that China and Russia are helping the 'wonderful' Islamic Republic of Iran. If they do, it is at a very low level, but I don't think they do it at all," he pointed out.

In this sense, he insisted that Beijing and Moscow "have too much to lose" in case of providing aid to Tehran. "We would know, and we would know very quickly," the president emphasized in a message disseminated through social media.

Russia and China, considered two of Iran's main international partners, have repeatedly called for a diplomatic solution to the escalation resulting from the aforementioned offensive, launched unexpectedly during the indirect negotiations phase between Washington and Tehran with the aim of closing a new nuclear deal.
