The authorities established by the Houthi insurgency in Yemen reported this Thursday the death of two civilians and that six other people were injured, including three minors, as a result of a series of bombings attributed to the military coalition led by Saudi Arabia.
The spokesperson for the Houthi Ministry of Health, Anis Alasbahi, detailed on social media up to four distinct actions. The attack with the most victims was recorded in Az Zaazi, in the south of the southwestern province of Taiz, where one person died and four others "were injured, including a boy and a girl" after the impact on a private home. He added that the other two injured are in "critical condition" and have been transferred to a hospital.
In another of the incidents, also attributed to the coalition led by Riyadh, a woman died and a girl was injured and hospitalized after a projectile hit the house where they were, in the village of Al Majham, in the district of Azmán, located a few kilometers from the border between the governorate of Hajja and Saudi Arabia.
These attacks, the Houthi spokesperson stated, "constitute a flagrant violation of International Humanitarian Law and add to the series of war crimes committed by the aggression against the civilian population in Yemen."
Just a few hours later, Alasbahi himself denounced a new attack by the coalition in the northwest of the country and very close to the Saudi border, specifically in the area of Munabi --bordering Saudi territory-- where, according to the representative of the Houthi Health Ministry, a man was injured by gunfire from Saudi border guards.
