Chunta Aragonesista, Izquierda Unida, Movimiento Sumar, Partido Verde Aragón and Recortes 0 made public on Thursday night a coalition agreement to present themselves united in the elections of 29N under the brand Frente Amplio Aragón, an agreement from which, for now, Podemos is excluded.

According to Chunta's details in a press release, the purpose of this unitary candidacy, defined as "broad, plural and recognizable," is to raise a joint political project that "places the needs of Aragón at the center of the state agenda."

With this alliance, the signing formations seek to "convert social support" into presence in the Cortes, so that each seat "serves to defend the interests of Aragón and improve the lives of its people."

The president of Chunta Aragonesista, Jorge Pueyo, has expressed on his social networks his gratitude for the "loyal work" of all the organizations involved, although he has shown his regret for the absence of Podemos in the agreement.

"Podemos is missing, and for that reason, from Chunta Aragonesista we also throw them the glove and ask them to join this Frente Amplio de Aragón," he pointed out, leaving the door open for the purple formation to integrate into the coalition.

Pueyo emphasized that the electorate demands a "voice" that proclaims that "Aragón is not a second-class autonomous community" and that the Aragonese left "will fight for the rights of the entire working class of the State."

In this line, he stressed that "we come to announce a candidacy in which we can stand firm against the far right, in which we can claim the Aragonese in Madrid, where we say that we are not a territory of forgetfulness and sacrifice, where we can fight for the social rights of the entire population."
