The Compromís deputy integrated into the Mixed Group of Congress, Águeda Micó, lashed out this Tuesday against the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, for not having yet promoted a regional congress of the party in the Community of Valencia to choose its candidate for the Presidency of the Generalitat. In her view, the national leadership of the PP "doesn't trust Juanfran Pérez Llorca one bit," who took over from Carlos Mazón at the head of the regional government. "Why do we have to swallow this as Valencians?" she posed.

Micó explained in a statement before the media in Congress that she has come to this conclusion after reports indicating the existence of a "report" on Pérez Llorca in "Génova." She detailed that "instead of calling a congress, they prefer to hire detectives to prepare a dossier on the president where he talks about corruption, his assets are analyzed, his environment, his political and professional circle, and it is mentioned that there may possibly be a criminal case."

"They don't trust the heir of Mazón one bit and, while they assess whether this man can be a candidate or not due to this corruption, they leave us Valencians with an interim president in the Generalitat," criticized the Compromís parliamentarian, who demanded to know "what is in that report" and urged Feijóo to "immediately remove him" from the Generalitat "if they have doubts about his honesty."
