The leader of the Popular Party (PP) in the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, has indicated that he does not believe that the Minister of Transport, Oscar Puente, is going to present his resignation during his intervention this Tuesday in the Permanent Deputation of the Congress of Deputies, where he must give explanations about the railway accident in Urda (Toledo).
"Spaniards no longer expect anything. After what we have lived through and to what the whole of Spaniards is being subjected, we now await as soon as possible the arrival of November 29 and for it to be Spaniards who judge Sánchez, his minister and his Government" López Miras stated before the meeting of the National Executive Committee of the Popular Party.
Questioned about whether the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, would have to dismiss Puente, the Murcian leader has indicated that "the fairest thing is for it to be Spaniards who judge in the ballot boxes the management and what the Sánchez Government is meaning for all of them".
López Miras has also advanced that, in this meeting, the PP will adapt the campaign "for the mood of the Spaniards, which is no longer what it was last week". "Now it has become much more evident that the Government of Sánchez is a danger for all Spaniards and in the face of danger the security and confidence of Feijóo".
