The president of the Junta and leader of the PP in Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, has stated that he trusts that the Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, will tell "the truth" in his appearance this Tuesday in Congress and that he will assume his responsibility, since, in his words, "bad management puts people's lives at risk".

Fernández Mañueco, in statements to the media before entering the meeting of the PP National Executive Committee, has said that "never" had "public services been put at risk" as now with Pedro Sánchez, alluding to "rail accidents, doctors on strike and anti-abuse bracelets that do not work".

For this reason, the president of the Junta and of the PP in Castilla y León has reiterated that he hopes that Puente "will tell the truth, even if it costs him, and that he will assume his responsibilities" because "bad management puts people's lives at risk".

"Óscar Puente must assume his responsibilities and if not, it is Pedro Sánchez who must assume his responsibility and make a decision in this regard", Fernández Mañueco has stressed, who has pointed out that the current Executive "has shown that it is incapable of managing public services effectively".

Alfonso Fernández Mañueco has likewise conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims of the Urda (Toledo) accident, in addition to wishing a "prompt recovery" to all the injured and recognizing and valuing the work of the emergency services.

Likewise, the regional president has advanced that in the upcoming elections on November 29 "there will be political change" because, in his view, Spain needs a government responsible in the management of infrastructure, effective when it comes to providing housing to young people and solvent in lowering taxes and managing effectively, and therefore "an Alberto Núñez Feijóo government is necessary".
