Deputy Macarena Montesinos will again be the number one candidate of the PP for Congress in Alicante in the upcoming general elections on November 29, as confirmed this Friday by the 'popular' party.
The PP of the province has made the decision public through its social networks, with a post in which, alongside a video featuring Montesinos, the message appears: "Clear things. Firm voice. Alicante ahead."
In the press conference following the plenary session of the Consell, the spokesperson for the Valencian government, Miguel Barrachina (PP), had pointed out, before the designation was officially announced, that, as a deputy, Montesinos "has been a luxury this legislature."
Barrachina also recalled that "she has a trajectory as secretary general, that is, the position of maximum responsibility in the largest group, the most beloved by Spaniards, which is the 'popular' group in the Congress of Deputies," referring to her internal weight in the Lower House.
The spokesperson also emphasized that "you cannot have a better representative to fight" for "funding," given that the province of Alicante is in 52nd place, as well as "to fight" for water and "everything" that "interests the people of Alicante and Valencia."
