The Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Courts, Félix Bolaños, has appealed for "maximum caution" regarding the report prepared by the National Police that would place Morocco behind the arrival of thousands of immigrants to Ceuta at the end of July, and has rejected that the Executive has hidden information about this alleged implication.
"Absolutely not. The Government of Spain is acting and is informing the citizens with the information it has at its disposal, with the information it knows. And, of course, the Government has to work with reliable, objective, accredited information that we know and that we can therefore analyze in absolute detail," the minister indicated this Wednesday in response to questions from journalists.
According to his explanation, they learned about the content of that police report last night following information published by "El Español" and, from that moment, the Government is "analyzing" that data.
"It is the time for caution, to analyze that report in depth and to know all the details mentioned. Therefore, until we know and study that report in detail and in depth, I ask for maximum caution," he defended.
He emphasized that in the Executive they are "the first interested in knowing what happened on those days, July 30 and 31, in the autonomous city of Ceuta and at our land border" and in that "the State Security Forces and Corps advance in the investigation and allow us to know exactly everything that happened," he said.
"Let us not want to anticipate events. We are going to analyze that report in depth and in detail, and once we have analyzed it, we will be able to respond," the head of the Presidency insisted.
