The Supreme Court has agreed to annul the arrest warrant against the former Catalan president and leader of Junts, Carles Puigdemont, after the resolution of the Constitutional Court that supports the application of amnesty for the crime of embezzlement linked to the 'procés' became known.
Through an order that Europa Press has accessed, the investigating magistrate of the 'procés', Pablo Llarena, renders void, with immediate effect and until there is a new express judicial resolution, the national orders for search, capture, and arrest issued against Puigdemont and the former councilors Toni Comín and Lluís Puig, who are being prosecuted but have not been tried as they are fugitives from Justice.
