The president of ERC, Oriol Junqueras, has expressed his satisfaction with the decision of the National Court to apply the amnesty law to 12 members of the CDR, considering that "They should never have been accused of terrorism, pursued, or imprisoned."

In a message published this Friday on the social network 'X' and reported by Europa Press, the republican leader celebrated that, with this resolution, justice "is making its way," although he emphasized that "but nothing will erase the suffering experienced."

On the same day, the National Court agreed to archive the case against the accused for an alleged crime of terrorism, applying the ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) that supported the amnesty law of the 'procés', and declared the free dismissal of the proceedings "due to the extinction of their criminal responsibility."
